From the words alone I envisage clean, fresh designs with a definite Modern Mid-Century feel. Colour-wise I feel it could either go into muted retro modern tones or bright happy contemporary hues. I gave up trying to do it myself and have enlisted the help of a FANTASTIC designer to help me out. Often taking a step back and handing at least one reign to someone else produces the best results - also a talented designer would be able to put you and your ideas in the design in a way you never could yourself! - well that's what I have learned recently anyway.
