I'm a fan of Sundays, but they still leave me feeling a little bit sad about the end of the weekend. This Sunday was amazing, my children had a sleepover, so my husband and I slept until 1015 for the first time in years. We then had a birthday party for my nephew, we watched the hockey game (so intense I wanted to be sick) and then watch the closing ceremonies. It was a great day which I will remember for a long time. Sounds like you had a fabulous day! I’m a fan of Sundays, but they still leave me feeling a little bit sad about the end of the weekend. They've always been some kind of in between day for me when I haven't been able to enjoy today but just to plan (and worry) about the next week. I think as I get older, day by day, I have been able to turn Sundays into something good. It's time to unwind, and not even trying to accomplish anything "real", just something that makes you feel good right at that moment. Thanks for a beautiful post!
