@LL All of my dogs are very loving. I’m really not sure what abuse (if any) Kayden suffered but I have never seen that type of aggression (not the playful kind) in a puppy. Even years later feeding him is hell. He eats like he’s never going to be fed again and throws HUGE tantrums (talking, impatience) while we are prepping. It makes me wonder if they were feeding him properly and how often.

Glad that he is a happy boy now though. :)

I have a Siberian too…also a dog from an abusive situation. Same “shadow” tendencies as Kayden, so she goes just about everywhere with me. Are your other Siberians so love-y too, or do think it’s because of the abuse?

i’m so glad you went back for him, i can’t believe someone could leave a puppy outside like that. it made me mad reading about it! he’s absolutely gorgeous, and that’s so sweet that he loves to be with you.

That was so touching to read (especially because I’m the biggest dog lover!) I’m so glad there are people like you who take in dogs like that…I hate hearing about people who get a puppy just b/c they think it would be a good gift – but they have no idea how to take care of one. Good for you for sticking through his puppy hood – and it’s so cute how he now follows you everywhere – so adorable!!! (btw, my dogs do the same – bathroom time is some sort of party for them i guess :)!
