Hot!

Toronto is currently experiencing a major heat wave and let me tell you… it’s hot, hot, hot! Yesterday temperatures felt in the 110s. Needless to say most of my day was spent indoors basking myself in the cooling AC. Today is going to be even hotter. Oh my! Days like this I crave Fall but I quickly remember how fast the ugly cold of Winter comes and bask in the sunshine. Unfortunately, many in Toronto lost power yesterday. Thankfully I didn’t and so no meltdown was required.

Melt

It has been such a crazy few weeks in Toronto. First the earthquake, then tornado warnings, then the G20 which was followed by Pride Week (which when classed as crazy I mean in a fun sense) and now the mini black-out. I wonder what’s next for this city? Ha!

What’s the weather like where you are? Enjoying Summer?

In San Diego, it feels like Seattle (cold, raining, and gloomy) and its summer.

Usually it’s soooo hot here in Atlanta, but last week it was in the 80s and I was in heaven!

Living about an hour west of Toronto, we are experiencing the same heat wave. I am tempted to crave fall as well, but as you said, it won’t be long before we’re talking about the wind chill instead of the humidex. So, it’s all about popsicles and AC and keeping the tomatoes plants alive for the next few days! :)

Congratulations on the reopening of your shop!

In Malaysia, it’s always hot. It’s about 31 degrees C today, and it’s almost the same everyday, except when it’s raining, it goes to about 25 degrees C, and when it’s super hot, perhaps 32 or 33 degrees C.

Most people will love it when it rains over here – because normally it’s so hot. I do too, but I don’t like when it rains too heavily though. Just a mild nice rain will make my day.
